[I first published a version of this story four years ago, in the closing days of the Biden v. Trump presidential contest, and it seems that, in some ways, nothing has changed since then; we again have a guy, Trump, who is demonstrably unfit to be President and Commander-in-Chief — remember he tried to overturn a free and fair election, and on Jan. 6 he instigated an insurrection and a storming of the capitol during which Mike Pence was threatened with hanging — and yet this convicted felon, in spite of being impeached twice, and the target of four criminal indictments, somehow is once again in the running for the highest office in the land, and supported by a population of yahoos and idiots and ignoramuses who couldn’t see the truth unless it whacked them over the head — and who are clearly profoundly ignorant and monumentally stupid.

Anyway, that being the case, I thought I would send my piece back into the world, and see if I can stir things up a little bit, and maybe educate some people.]
